01

Check your A/L year

The 2026/27 handbook covers Sri Lankan G.C.E. A/L candidates from 2023, 2024, or 2025 who qualify for university entrance.

02

Check general requirements

Three S passes in one sitting, within three sittings; at least 30 for the Common General Test within three sittings; an S pass in A/L General English or O/L English Language; and age 25 or below on 27 September 2026.

03

Check your chosen degree

Every degree has its own entry requirements. Selection also depends on preferences, available seats and, when oversubscribed, A/L Z-score.

Requirements can change by intake. Confirm the current notice and the exact degree requirements in the official handbook before submitting.
